George III ebonised automata and musical elaborated, bell top verge bracket clock with acanthus feet, pineapple finials, cast fittings, a break arch case, a fired enamel dial, fine gilt spandrels, Roman numerals, serpentine blued steel hands, separate strike, silent and tune selection dials, a pull cord repeat. The painted and fret worked automata scene, set as a water scene, with a castle and towns in the distance, moving water and ships on the move. The very complicated six pillar triple fusee movement with profusely floral engravings to the back plate, a knife edge verge escapement, four selectable tunes of Paddy Wack, country dance, horn pipe and March, a separate nest of nine bells, fifteen hammers, a separate strike bell for the hours and going eight-days, made in London
