Description:
A late 18th century mahogany bell top bracket clock, Barwick, Norwich with moulded cornice and arched glazed side apertures, 7 inch arched brass dial signed in a boss over silvered Roman and Arabic dial with matted centre, twin gut fusee movement with verge escapement striking on a bell, the back plate with engraved flowers and foliage. Height 49 cm Note: George Barwick of Norwich succeeded Page and Christian in 1788 and is recorded working until 1807.
