A Berlin porcelain plaque, Konigliche Porzellan Manufaktur (KPM), circa 1895, painted by Carl Meinelt, oval, painted in colours with 'Daphne' after Hubert von Herkomer, signed 'Meinelt' lower right, impressed KPM and sceptre mark to the reverse with the letter F, also with the original paper label, mounted in an antique carved and gilt frame, 34 x 28 cms, oval. Condition: age related degredation of the glaze, not apprarent at naked eye- visible under Uv light., minor peripheral scratches, framed possibly original by regilt throughout
