Duthie marked H.Bros for Holden Bros of Queen Street Auckland., in July 1906, canterbury press Co., presented to the Government two shields valued at 50 guineas each to be competed for using .22 calibre rifles by the public school cadets of New Zealand. One shield was for the North Island and the other for the South Island
