Wonderful and large Chinese red lacquer and gilt robe stand, the crest rail set with two well carved dragon heads to each end, above a highly carved and pierced frieze displaying a central panel of a deer, lingzi and bats, flanked by scrolls of Chinese script, flanked by well carved panels displaying birds, flowering branches, deer and horses, above a lower series of panels featuring temples and landscapes, the whole supported on fretwork pedestal with pierced brackets, 203 cm x 214 cm
