Fine gold pocket watch, circa 1900, to commemorate the Paris Exposition, a world's held in Paris, France, from 14 April to 12 November 1900, to celebrate the achievements of the past century and to accelerate development into the next. The watches patterned inner and outer cases are in 18ct yellow gold of French manufacture the watch having a two tone dial with subsidiary dial, and a USA manufactured manual wind movement, which is in remarkable condition. The back inner case is engraved with "Exposition Universelle Paris 1900" with the four symbols of the exposition. 50 mm diameter case. Weight:67.4 grams.
