Two R. Johnston flintlock pistols c.1,800, London, smoothbore, octagonal 12 mm cal. Barrel, signed 'R. Johnston S.T James's Street', finely engraved tang; lock signed 'R. Johnston', engraved and provided with safety lock and anti-friction and sealing system; full wooden stock with checkered butt, iron trigger guard finely engraved with a pineapple, trophies and floral motifs. Set trigger. Wooden ramrod. Mounted as lamps, restoration needed. Length 39 cm. (2)
