A polychrome and gilt decorated coromandel black lacquer eight-panel screen, first half 20th century, one side with a continuous courtly scene of figures variously occupied in leisurely pursuits on terraced pavilions and in gardens, below a frieze of fan-shaped landscapes and an outer border of precious objects and 'Antiques', the reverse with panels of birds among different flowering plants and trees, each panel 244 cm high, 45.5 cm wide
