Alexander sharp (Morar Pottery) (Scotland 1918-2010), large bowl, stoneware with a band of stylised decoration on reserve on a grey ground, potter's marks to the foot, diameter 25.5 cm. Provenance: by repute, purchased by the current owners from the Penwith gallery in St Ives in the 1960s when Alexander sharp was working with Bernard Leach.
