Description:
1904 Birmingham silver hallmarked hinged top to a red leather stamp box, with curved interior single stamp compartment. Maker's mark 'Bp/DC' for 'Boots pure Drug Company'. Boots was, and still is, a large chain of retail chemists who in the period maintained a silversmithing arm. Very good condition, interesting. Provenance: Ex John Murr collection. 8.5 x 3 x 2.5 cm high
