Chinese late Qing Dynasty ivory teapot, of faceted tapering form, the rectangular inset cover set with an angled loop finial above a body with an angular handle and elongated curving spout, decorated in all over relief with mythical beasts, attributes, lotus and foliate scrolling, with evidence of past gilding, with carved bird cartouche to base, a/f, together with a shaped timber base with pierced geometric gallery, teapot height 13.5 cm x length 18 cm
