Rare and beautiful Japanese Meiji period bronze and mixed metal vase (1868-1912), of large proportions, with a spreading lip above a waisted neck and tapering body, decorated with a fine raised scene of peacocks on a rocky outcrop surrounded by flowers and sparrows, on circular support and raised upon four feet, two character makers mark reads Hi HO (Tobu-Taka), height 60 cm
