Rare Maori tobacco pipe with carved naturalistic face with full facial moko, tiny paua shell eyes, carved ears with earrings attached and a pipe in the mouth. A carved Gecko with tiny paua shell eyes entwines the stem of the pipe, the carver is probably Tom Heberley. Length 15 cm. Depth 4.2 cm. Width 4 cm.
