Rare and beautiful Christeson pipe with 9ct gold mounts. Two reclining Maori figures lying back to back on either side of pipe bowl, both set with paua shell eyes. Stamped on both gold bands, 'Christeson, 9ct and Gp'. (May be George Pretkethly - New Zealand Jeweller and Goldsmith). Length 15.5 cm.
