Rare Aynsley 'Liberation of Kuwait' urn and cover, hand painted by R. Band and produced for the Peter Jones collection, no.52/150, of twin handled baluster form, decorated to either side with reserves displaying tank, helicopter and Kuwait flags, on a cobalt ground with gilt accents, height 22.5 cm, with gift note from Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Provenance: Gift from the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Kuwait to an Australian Government official.
