Description:
An embroidered silk Pi Ling collar late Qing dynasty, the black satin ground embroidered in coloured silks and couched gilt threads with two dragons chasing a flaming pearl among clouds and bats, all above a band of waves, with brocade binding and backed with bronze brocade, together with a Mandarin's winter court hat, the black domed cap with upturned rim below a gilt-bronze globular finial and red silk tassels, the collar 67.5 cm long, the hat 21 cm diameter.
