Lovely Art Deco bronze and ivory dancer, c.1930 by Gerda Iro Gerdago (1906-2004), depicting a dancer standing on one foot with the other one raised above, arched back with and hand raised on front, wearing a flowing floral dress, raised on oval onyx base, signed Gerdago to base, height 29.5 cm. Provenance: Sotheby's Elton John Art Nouveau and Art Deco, London, 7th Sept 1988, lot 868, then Despard gallery Hobart, then private collection
