Stunning pair of late Regency mahogany library chairs, c.1825, with shaped petalled crest rails, above a caned back, above reeded scrolling arms terminating to acanthus scrolls, with buttoned leather seats, raised on turned legs with carved tulip motifs raised on castors, impressed stamp for James Winter & Sons, 101 Wardour St, London, with valuation certificate, (2) Note: James Winter was a retailer and is listed at this address from 1823 to 1840.
