Magnificent Continental silver wine ewer, probably German, with Austro-Hungarian import marks for 1891-1901, in Baroque taste, beautifully set with a pineapple finial to cover, with lifting mechanism, above a knop lobed neck, above a stunning pilgrim form body with wheel cut decoration displaying twin swans either side of flowering fountain, the sides set with pierced silver with rosettes, on a quarter foil body with acanthus scrolls, height 37 cm
