A pair of hongmu and hardwood stands, 20th century, of petal-shaped hexagonal section, the flush panel top within a shaped mitred frame with multi grooved edge above a short straight waist carved with a frieze of flowerheads and foliage, the stepped shoulders extending down to form the six straight legs joined by pierced ruyi -head and angular scroll spandrels and by curved stretchers above the scroll feet, (2), 103 cm high, 500 cm diameter
