A pair of Nepalese Shaivite painted book covers 18th century, the covers painted to the exterior with flower roundels within rectangular borders, the interior painted with Shiva, Parvati and Ganesh surrounded by matrikas, and a kneeling donor to one side, the other cover painted to the interior with a black Shivalingam with two deities on either side, each cover 9 cm high, 37.5 cm wide.
