Afghanistan, Regulation 1893 - 1903 pattern Khyber sword, arsenal of Maiga-i-Sharif usually with his mark stamped to forte, blade, 65 cm long, slightly curved, bi fullered, single edged, spear point, with short sharpened back edge. Hilt all steel with wooden grip scales and 3 bar knuckle bow. Scabbard leather covered wood with steel chape, locket and suspension ring, VGC.
