A quality 1930s finely hand-beaten silver bowl, with plain shaped rim. Birmingham 1933 by Henry George Murphy and with his Falcon Studio mark. Murphy entered the Central School of Arts & Crafts in London at age 14, he became principal of that school in 1936 and is recognised as a top English Art Deco silversmith. 116gm. Diameter 10.2 cm.
