A pair of maroon leather Doc Martens boots, worn by Russell Crowe as the character, 'Hando,' in the film, Romper Stomper (1992), each boot inscribed in pen to the inside 'Hando', together with a colour printed photograph of Russell Crowe as the character, 'Hando', signed by Russell Crowe. Accompanied by a letter from Russell Crowe stating his ownership. Provenance: Mr Russell Crowe, Sydney. The boots still have traces of sand remaining from the penultimate scene in the film, where Hando is killed during a fight with 'Davey' (Daniel Pollock), and 'Gabe' (Jacqueline McKenzie), which took place on a beach location beside a back drop of rolling surf and cliffs.
