A hardwood throne, the stepped, panelled back and sides formed of recessed panels with chamfered edges within rounded frames above a similarly panelled rectangular seat, over a narrow waist with shaped beaded apron carved with linear scrolls, supported on thick cabriole legs of square section terminating in scroll feet and joined by humpback stretchers, the wood with attractive grain and golden tones resembling huanghuali, 93 cm high, 109.5 cm wide, 73 cm deep
