A 19th century Chinese finely carved ivory figure of a bodhisattva, modelled standing, his long robe with elegant drapes, holding a circular fan, he smiles showing his teeth, long earlobes. Height 13.5 cm. Raised on dark finely carved hardwood stand with silver wire inlay and cloisonne gallery.
