A Ming-style blue and white 'lotus' dish seal mark and period of Qianlong, the interior painted with a central medallion of lotus sprays within a double line border, and a frieze of ribboned chimes alternating with bats around the cavetto, with further lotus scrolls around the broad everted rim, the underside with sprigs of lingzhi and bamboo, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark, box, 30.3 cm diameter.
