Canon Hansa 35 mmZ rangefinder camera, [#1082], 1937, with Nikkor 50 mmZ f3.5 collapsible lens [#50712]; pop up viewfinder, base plate #2743; 'Hansa' engraved on top plate; metal lens cap and original Canon Hansa Erc with straps. The Canon Hansa camera was introduced in 1935 and was produced up to 1940 with around 1100 examples being made. Lens mounts are numbered from 55 to 5,200. It was the first formal production Canon camera.

Canon Model J-II camera [#8569] engraved Canon Seiki-Kogaku on top plate, 1945-46, with Serenar 50 mmZ f3.5 lens [#8050] and metal cap. Production began at the end of 1945, largely utilizing Model S parts. The camera looks identical to the Model S except for the smaller rewind knob and curved end on the viewfinder housing. This camera became popular with occupation troops however fewer than 525 were produced.
