The M.C.C. Team in South Africa 1938-39, 28 x 37 cm team photograph, laid down on card, signed by the whole party in the margin below. Noted Ames, Edrich, Hutton, Yardley, Hammond and Paynter. Five Test matches were played, with England winning one and the other four ending in draws.
