A Persian wool medallion rug, the carpet richly embellished with a bold central rosette in blue black surrounded by a profusion of tendrils and stylised flowers in rose, tan and varied hues of blue, teal and green upon a ruby field, with floral spandrels and a trio of borders, two with identical repeat stylised patterns, the main with leaves and flowers.
