Two Royal Doulton Series Ware chargers, circa 1940s Patterns D5623 and D5686. 'Pembroke Castle' and 'Under the Greenwood tree' depicting a scene from the tales of Robin hood, both transfer designs in autumnal colours with oak leaf and acorn garland borders; with backstamp underside, impressed numerals and one with the special under the Greenwood tree stamp. Height 4 cm. Diameter 39 cm.
