An Japanese pierced sterling silver platter, early 20th century, stamped sterling, the shallow bowl with a broad border with pierced design depicting auspicious oriental foliage, prunus blossom, bamboo and chrysanthemum to a plain central disc, and having serpentine scrolled borders, raised on a small flaring foot; stamped sterling to inside of base. Silver weight 579gr. Height 5 cm. Diameter 32 cm
