A Chinese finely-carved ivory fan, late 19th/early 20th century, each blade finely carved in low relief on a pierced ground to form when fanned out an overall scene of figures in various pursuits in a landscape with trees and buildings, an oval cartouche to the centre carved with a Western monogram, mounted and framed. Height 19 cm. Width 34 cm. (fan fully opened)
