A Chinese finely-carved ivory vase, late 19th/early 20th century of facetted baluster form with a pair of pierced handles to the shoulder, the body divided with vertical and horizontal ribs containing carved and pierced panels of figures amongst buildings and trees, the rim and neck reticulated, the handles and foot foliate-carved and pierced. Height 19 cm.
