Dr. Francis Russell Nixon, Australia, (1803-1879). Original printing blocks for a drawing of Mt. Wellington published by J Walch, Hobart and another larger of a view of Sandy Bay, also published by J Walch 8 x 10 cm and 11 x 22 cm Francis Nixon taught at the Sydney Mechanics school of Art, and later became the first church of England Bishop of van Diemen’s Land.
