A rectangular shaped snuff box, by Hilliard and Thomason, Birmingham circa 1850, (date obscure) the lid engraved with leaf and branch decoration and scrolled cartouche enclosing a monogram 'Nid'(??), the base with foliate scroll work and the sides with a frieze of diamond cross hatching. Height 7.5 cm. Length 4.5 cm. Depth 1.75 cm, weight 84gms.
