Rimu Bed c.1870 This three quarter sized bed (six inches wider than a single bed and six inches narrower than a double bed) retains its original dark finish. The finely turned spindles and shaped apron on the footboard add to the bed's appeal. The slat configuration is unusual, running the length of the bed rather than the more common crosswise.
