A Chinese flambe glazed bottle vase the elegantly rounded body giving rise to the tall cylindrical neck on a recessed base, covered overall with a rich red glaze, highlighted with deep purple streaks, thinning towards the rim to reveal a pale mushroom colour, crack to base and chips to inner foot, with a carved circular wooden stand. Height 37 cm
