A 19th century brass bound and walnut veneer writing box the interior fitted with a sloping writing surface (replaced tooled leather inset), lifting to reveal a large compartment concealing three hidden small drawers below two ink bottle and pen compartments, brass escutcheon matching the brass motif inlay to to the cover. Note; some faults. Width 45.2 cm. Depth 25.5 cm. Height 16.5 cm
