*** Two Maori Stone Toki Adzes 1: Duff type 2b in a dark green greywacke with small inclusions. Polished on all surfaces including poll. Bevel slightly skewed. Provenance; found at Otatara, Southland in the 1950s. Length 12.6 cm. Depth 2.5 cm. Width 5.6 cm. Y11139. 2: of milky grey stone, the front and backsurfaces smooth and polished, the sides reduced through bruising, asymmetrical in cross-section, blade convex curved and quite sharp. Length 5.7 cm. *** Two Maori Small Stone Small to Medium Blades 1: grey/black stone, cutting edge quite sharp and polished, other areas show bruising, both surfaces convex, ovular cross-section, untanged with distinguished bevel. Provenance; family descent, Christchurch. Length 10.5 cm. Depth 5.2 cm. Depth 2 cm. Y13284. 2: of grey stone, all facets show bruising except butt area of front, the bevel is quadrangular in cross-section, the poll and cutting edges are curved, the cutting edge is blunt. Y10635. 2: A reworked stone adze fragment of basalt, a portion of the blade section of a larger adze remodelled into a small adze with a short steep bevel, ground on all faces. Blade chipped. Beveal chipped and ground with a marked skew. Butt rough natural surface. Length 20.2 cm Depth 2.1 cm. Width 7.6 cm. Provenance; purchased 1948 from a secondhand shop in Invercargill. Y11127 ***

*** A Rare George Boyd Newton Pottery Majolica Classical Dolphin Jardiniere Stand moulded, the one piece of a stepped triangular base supporting three classical dolphins, their bodies entwined and the tails spreading to support the circular dish. Not marked. Note; chip to the top of a dolphin. Height 26.2 cm ***
*** A Rare George Boyd Newton Pottery Majolica Classical Dolphin Jardiniere Stand moulded, the one piece of a stepped triangular base supporting three classical dolphins, their bodies entwined and the tails spreading to support the circular dish. Not marked. Note; chip to the top of a dolphin. Height 26.2 cm ***
*** A Carder Bisque Fired Lobed Small Garden Urn planter body only, (minus the pedestal base). Incised 'Carder' to the interior wall. An upper border of egg and dart moulding above two moulded fruiting vines, each painted green and red, two twin classical bearded masks to the sides (as remnants of the original handles). Remnants of white paint to resemble marble. Note; some faults. Height 22 cm. Diameter 30 cm ***
