Greer Twiss. Mother and Child Bronze sculpture Height 26 cm. Provenance: From the collection of Sybil Alice Ferguson. Sybil was one of the first silkscreen artists in New Zealand. She went to Elam and helped form the Rutland Group. Sybil spent her life working on her Art. She was friends with Pat Hanly, Robert Ellis, Greer Twiss and other well known New Zealand artists. She always supported local artists, but was never recognized as an artist as she had an issue with her self confidence.
