These were taken on his way to Australia in 1937 en route to his appointment as ADC to Lord Gowrie, Governor General of Australia 1936-1945. His grandfather, the 5th Earl of Ranfurly, was Governor General of New Zealand 1897-1904. Includes also 2 photos of Guide Rangi (Rangitiaria Dennan 1897-1970).
