Description:
A 19th century 4 Wheel French Buggy Carriage with maker's brass plaque 'Geraud Solignan a,la Chapelle da Lagnon Canton de Murat Dpt du Cantal' and a back fold up dickey seat,with a back rest. The woodwork is in good condition, the button back leather work in very,poor condition and really needs renewing. Also the button back leather seat cushions are,missing. The two long wooden shafts which attach to the horse are original and come with,the carriage. Originally discovered in a farmer's shed in Fayence, an old town in the hills,behind Nice, France. Dark grey paintwork and buttercup yellow wheels.,H. 151 cm,L. 220 cm
