A Demetre Chiparus bronze and ivory figural group 'Les Amis de Toujours', Demetre H. Chiparus (1886-1947), circa 1925, the impressive cold painted, parcel-gilt and silvered bronze and ivory figural group, modelled as a lady standing, her two faithful borzois at either hand, with carved and tinted ivory face and hands, on a stepped and bow fronted mottled brown marble plinth, the base engraved 'Chiparus', the bronze stamped with J.L. Foundry mark numbered 15 and 'Made in France' height 41 cm, length 42.5 cm, width 14 cm
