A bronze ormolu and marble figural mantel clock, Japy Freres, also stamped Barbot, Paris, circa 1850 in the Louis XVI style, the white enamel Roman dial set in a rectangular white marble stepped case with canted corners, with bronze ormolu floral pendants, beaded borders, linked C-scrolls and leafy scrolling feet, surmounted by a lady in 18th century dress resting her elbows on a small dressing table, the brass movement stamped 'Etablissements Barbot' and 'Japy Freres', with key and pendulum.H: 56 cm, W: 30.5 cm, diameter 14.5 cm
