Manner of George Mears (British 1870-1895) the paddle steamer 'Victoria', oil on canvas 51 x 92 cm 'Victoria' was owned by the South East railway Company. She was a cross channel ferry running between Newhaven and Dieppe. Provenance: Purchased Oliver Sutton Antiques, London 1974
