An eccentric and unique early colonial cedar five tier pewter stand, 157 x 225 x 104 cm, a remarkable one-off piece of Tasmaniana, specially commissioned and still totally original and complete despite the sections above the main table all being dry jointed. Untouched old worn finish and patination. Provenance: Commissioned for the Saracens Head Inn (still standing), 727 East Derwent Highway, Risdon, Tasmania. Private Collection, NSW
