An Early Colonial Cedar Boldly Scrolled Back Chiffonier Circa 1840-45 119 x 150 x 52 cm The dramatic soft scroll but flamboyant carving (Thomas Hope inspired) seen on sideboards, double end sofas, bed-heads and chiffoniers in Sydney furniture and almost certainly the signature work of one pre-eminent woodcarver in the colony in the 1840's.
