*** Rare French 18th C. Lidded Jewellery Box hand painted and enamelled. five painted scenes, the main scene with the caption 'The Hare and the Tortoise', signed by Lauque. The factory mark underneath is Sceaux with gold anchor ***
*** An Important Sterling Silver Chalice inscribed 'Presented by the St. Albans friends to the Rev. Ja's Buller 1866.' This chalice would have been used by Reverend Buller at the Durham Street Methodist Church in Christchurch which he was responsible for building in 1864 and where he preached until 1866 when he moved to Auckland. Birmingham 1864 hallmarks. Also includes 'Forty years in NZ' by J. Buller and two hand coloured photos of Buller and his wife. H 17 cm ***

*** Wooden Head of Christ Provenance - This head was taken from Indonesia to Singapore in the 1960s. The head (probably 18th/19th C. carving) has a gash in it dating from the time when rebels tried to desecrate the Catholic churches. This church where this was found was demolished and only the head remained. On a small plinth only one glass eye remaining. Height 19 cm ***
