*** A black lacquer and box and cover, Meiji period, of rounded rectangular form decorated on the ro-iro ground in various gold lacquer techniques with a waterfall descending between rocky cliffs among pine and maple trees growing from crevices, the turbulent water with crested waves extending over the rocks around the sides among bamboo and other plants, the interior in nashi-ji, the rims mounted with silver, with wood storage box with an inscription to the cover (2) 29 x 24 x 15 cm ***
